Welcome

Year 3/4 performance of Midsummer at the Royal Shakespeare Company

On Tuesday 5th July, year 3 and 4 children crowned their Midsummer Night’s Dream experience with a visit to the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in Stratford-upon-Avon, birthplace of the Bard himself. As part of the 400th anniversary of Shakespeare’s death, the Royal Shakespeare Company have collaborated with schools across the country as part of the Dream Team Playmaking Festival, supporting them to perform an adapted version of the play, and this summer the RSC opened its doors to schoolchildren as part of its Playmaking Festival. This was a once in a lifetime opportunity for our children and we are hugely grateful to the education team at the RSC!
